Initial Impressions It takes only one glance to understand how the Tonka  Ricochet is one of the most unique and original RC land vehicles released this season. It’s 19″ long and has 5″ diameter tires with an incredibly low-slung design. It is so low, in fact, and the tires are just too large, that it makes you wonder whether it could drive upside-down. Actually, it can, by design. Whenever you turn the Ricochet over, the underside even has another body on it of the different color. The construction of the Tonka Ricochet RC feels tough and well thought-out. Things are pretty sturdy including parts seem thick and strong. There is no antenna poking from the vehicle to get snapped off or scraped up. The controller has an unusually tough design, having a thick flexible protecting sheath around its antenna that’s can’t get permanently bent or broken. It’s tri-band technology, allowing you to choose from three radio frequencies so you can run multiple Ricochets within the same area without interference, even if they’re the same color. The controls are semi proportional. there are three forward speeds plus reverse, and 2 steering angles. There’s also a button you can press together with your right index finger that will transform the Ricochet from low-slung street & stunt demon to high-riding monster truck. The way in which it executes this change is actually unexpected, and you’ll have to check it out within the video.Included using the Tonka RC Ricochet is really a 9V battery for that controller, a 9.6V rechargable battery pack for the vehicle itself, and a two-piece charger. The charger goes far above & beyond the norm amonst toy-class RC sets. Most chargers are just a power supply unit that you simply plug into the wall and battery, and they released a small, fixed quantity of electricity, called a “trickle charge.” As this trickle is never-ending, you need to disconnect your battery at the right time, when it gets warm to point it’s full, otherwise the pack will be over-charged, causing some degradation to the lifespan from the cells inside. The charger included with the Ricochet includes a normal trickle charge unit to it, however, you don’t plug that part straight into your battery. Instead, there is a separate box that gets into between which will automatically stop charging the battery when it is full. The technical term for this can be a “peak detection” circuit, sensing when the battery reaches its absolute maximum voltage. Because of this extra piece, battery charging using the Ricochet is 100% hassle-free and as safe just like be. You can put the pack on to charge in the evening and practically forget about it. Testing Due to the big tires, When i first ran the Ricochet on a bumpy dirt field. It had been pretty fast had lots of capacity to get over moldly to moderately rough terrain, but traction would be a problem. The tires, though air-filled, are in fact made of a pretty hard rubber, and they don’t get good grip. How a Ricochet steers is by completely bending in the center, instead of just steering the leading wheels alone, and the result is that even at 1/2 steering input, it turns pretty sharply and with a lot of momentum. On dirt, even whenever you straighten out after a transform it really wants to keep turning a little, almost enjoy it wants to spin out. It’s then difficult to get it to go straight again without completely letting from the throttle to let it get settled. Even if I attempted to put my 11 years of pro-grade RC driving experience to work it was still pretty difficult to make the Ricochet go just where I wanted. When i used the Ricochet’s transforming ability and took it to a flatter gravel area as well as on an asphalt surface. It does not go any faster in low mode, but because it’s longer, it is a little simpler to handle when turning. The tires still don’t have great traction a street surface, with two-wheel-drive and lots of power it’ll still powerslide & spin a lot more than you want it to, but it’s more controllable and fun than you are on dirt. It was interesting to find out that after the Ricochet gets flipped inverted, it won’t steer as sharply as when it is right side up — it’ll only turn in the half-steering angle. Surprisingly, this made it easier to control as less available steering causes it to be harder to spin out accidentally. Conclusion The Tonka  Ricochet 4×4 RC is really a tough vehicle that was definitely designed with a lot of thought and care. It is a little on the expensive side, however, you purchase real quality. What a tragic shame it’s, then, that the manufacturer made a very, very bad decision about only one critical component. The tires look great and therefore are just the right size, but using a stiff, plasticky material utterly decimates the performance and enjoyability from the vehicle. Don’t misunderstand me. The Ricochet is a fast toy RC, it’s fun, and also the transforming & flipping abilities are awesome. Many kids will absolutely love it. However, by just using softer tires, the handling and driving experience would have been made at least 50% better, easilly propelling it deep into “grade A” territory. I hope this is just the first in a number of new Tonka RCs, since the Ricochet is definitely a step in the best directly for toy RCs, with progressive and innovative features and a lot of durability. With just a tiny bit more focus on important details inside a future revision, it could become a serious force on the planet of action toys.

Prade Amber Perfume Review

Created with a rich base of amber, Prada Amber Pour Homme is a sensual, masculine scent that draws a playful contrast with four basic accords: amber, fougere, cologne and leather. The top notes of mandarin, cardamom and bergamot conveys a classic ambiance while the oriental elements radiate comforting warmth that calms. The base culminates with a sleek finish of leathery notes of vetiver, neroli saffron and suede. Notice the fleeting fruity opening followed by a sweet Tonka-vanilla heart with hints of light patchouli. The light powdery touches of base notes infuse a mild sweet-like scent, not too sweet because every note is well restrained. This scent is elegant and masculine in a gentle kind of way.

Prada Amber is not the type of pour homme fragrance that overwhelms. It is not heavy on the sillage and certainly, does not announce itself in the crowd. It is meant for intimacy and closeness. There is a distinct soapiness but the kind of luxurious soap imaginable like those sold in high-end shops in Italy. One loyal Prada Amber gushed, “This scent is a tease. It doesn’t command attention. It’s too subtle to do that. Instead it begs for attention. It captivates your interest with it’s promising notes, drawing you in closer to get better acquainted, but never giving up all it’s secrets completely all at once. Addictive. It has an inviting sexiness to it.”

And yet another user who can’t get enough of Prada Amber, “It’s very hard to identify the individual notes in this fragrance, and yes it does have a synthetic feel if over-applied. And yes it definitely smells like soap, but the kind of soap you would find in hotel rooms costing more than $1000 a night… this has been one of my mainstays for quite some time… the sillage is amazing, the opening to dry down is tightly knit, and you never get the feeling that you smell like the other three guys in the elevator… this is a tremendously light and powdery fragrance, so if you are a lover of woods or deeper scents you will hate this… all in all a extraordinary Prada cologne to go with my great Prada footwear.”

Prada Amber Pour Homme is one of the most intriguing fragrances from the Italian perfumery house. The ingredients are masterfully balanced and harmonized resulting to a unique fragrance like no other — notably soapy, fragrant and long-lasting. The scent drifts throughout the day leaving you with clean waves of luxurious fragrance.
