Thierry Mugler perfume Angel Innocent review

“Innocent, spirited and playful, instantly seduces with a sparkling, fruity cloud. Its tender, delicious mist envelops the skin with delight, inspiring a desire for eternal renewal.” (Sephora.com)
Angel Innocent by Thierry Mugler is for the woman who prefers to seduce through innocent charm. Its sweet, non-invasive fragrance fills the air with a carnival of sweets that features sugared almonds, praline, candied fruits and chocolate truffles. This delicious scent is a a fusion of lush notes that include bergamot, mandarin, helional, honey, dewberry, black currant, passion fruit, red berries, almonds, meringue and amber musk. Although laden with confectionery sweets, Innocent is not as cloying as the original Angel. The fragrance evokes pictures of youth and as the name suggests, innocence. It is more fresh and perfectly suits a young woman.
Innocent opens up with a creamy blend of fruits and florals. The orange blossoms stand out giving it a nice citrusy aroma. It dries down to a romantic blend of ambery musk, vanilla and meringue. The sillage reeks a familiar Angel character in it. Longevity is moderate and perfume reviewers agree that is it best worn during the winter months.
One perfume fan commented, “It starts out sweet and fresh and the dry down is much lighter then Angel. The dewberry gives it a sweet and fruity touch on me and I love it for it, when the base notes take over there is only a hint left of the earlier notes and the sweetness changes into something more subtle and harder to notice.” As Angel Innocent is a lighter fragrance than the parent, the dry down may be fainter. With some users, the sillage is a lot better. Angle Innocent holds longer on the skin. According to another perfume critic, “This scent really smells very happy. reminds me of a shower of sweet and younger days of my life – carefree and full of dreams. I think it’s because of the honey. This is a quiet but strong scent do not be mislead.”
Created by perfume designer Laurent Bruyere, Innocent was introduced in the market in 1998. Thierry Mugler’s fragrances include Angel Caprice de Star (2007), A*Men Pure Coffee (2008) and Alien Eau Luminiscente (2008).
Review of Armani Code perfume for women

Armani Code is a fresh, sultry fragrance bursting with a healthy dose of orange-ginger notes that captivate and tickle the scent palate. Introduced in the spring of 2006, this lovely feminine scent has just the right amount of oomph that seduces with its unique floral-oriental combination. Armani Code radiant opening features zesty blood orange, ginger spice and pear sorbet. The heart, with all its subtlety and sweetness, brings out an air of fragrant florals of sambac jasmine. The base fades into a delicious trail of vanilla, lavender honey and precious woods complex.
Oranges fills the head notes giving the scent its citrusy aroma but after a while the orange blossoms fades and smoothly levels off with vanilla and honey. It’s powdery on the dry down but in an elegant kind of way. Armani Code is a borderline gourmand-floral scent. The scrumptious, milk-chocolate aroma is attributed to the warm honey’ed vanilla musk accords.
The distinct sweetness is reminiscent of Hugo Boss Deep Red, a similar fragrance that also falls under this fragrance category. The oriental base, on the other hand, is similar to the oriental sweetness of Sacre Bleu sans the maturity and smoky incense dry down. One perfume reviewer quipped,” I think that Code was an attempt to be all things to all people, and instead it is a little too sweet for mature women and a little too oriental for young women.” In addition, another perfume reviewer thought that despite Armani Code’s dignified feminine scent the fragrance typifies the usual mainstream floral based perfume: it could get pretty boring with constant use. Further, he commented, “Armani Code doesn’t offer adventure, but it smells lovely and pure. If this is Armani’s code, then I am all about him. Also, it is a much better creation then 90% of what the company has put out all these years. At least, it does not imitate anything out there - not all that much at the very least.”Armani Code doesn’t offer adventure, but it smells lovely and pure.
